•    All inspection and testing, including materials and equipment on any suborder, and taking responsibility for ensuring that all materials and equipment are strictly in accordance with the Specifications as defined in the purchase order;

•    Specifying identifiable requirements based on COMPANY’s minimum levels of inspection for each material requisition, or alternative procedures designed to ensure equally high standards of inspection;

•    Performing inspections and testing only by the use of qualified inspectors. (WORKSHOP inspection shall be carried out at both the point of manufacture and, where necessary, at the source of manufacturers' sub-ordered materials);

•    Ensuring full and complete performance of all QA/QC tasks and activities including VENDOR inspection;

•    Arranging and coordinating for all necessary / required Third-Party Inspection and Certification where required for specific equipment and materials in the country of origin, or for statutory provisions and regulations, for insurance, or any other reason; and

•    Making available at all times for COMPANY to participate (at its option) in all the foregoing activities and in particular in pre-inspection meetings, inspection visits and witnessing of tests.

•    Submit to COMPANY written reports on performed expediting and inspection of manufacture in sufficient detail for COMPANY to monitor the effectiveness of expediting/inspection.

•    Prepare and issue a monthly inspection status report showing the “test milestones” reached for equipment and materials comprising CONTRACTOR ITEMS. 

Skills

• A bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Engineering or related discipline from an accredited university with a minimum of eight (8) years of project experience in the construction industry.
• Technical certifications such as ASNT, AWS or ASQ is preferable.
• Fully familiar with the requirements of ISO 9001 for Quality Management Systems and able to develop, maintain and implement a QMS in accordance with that standard.
• Experience in residential construction EPC projects.
• Fluent in English with strong written and oral communication skills in English as well.
• Ability to overseee a large construction site with a variety of ongoing activities.
