Job Description:
As the Senior Video Editor & Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for creating compelling video content and managing our social media platforms to engage and grow our audience. You will work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute creative strategies that align with our brand objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Video Production:
· Conceptualize, storyboard, and script video content ideas that resonate with our target audience.
· Oversee the entire video production process from filming to editing and final delivery.
· Edit raw footage into engaging videos using industry-standard editing software.
· Ensure video content is high-quality, on-brand, and optimized for various platforms and devices.
· Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors, such as videographers and graphic designers, to produce multimedia content.
Social Media Management:
· Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversion.
· Manage all social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, LinkedIn, TikTok) and ensure consistent messaging and branding across channels.
· Create and schedule social media posts, including text, images, and videos, using social media management tools.
· Monitor social media analytics and track key performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns.
· Stay updated on social media trends, algorithm changes, and emerging platforms to continuously optimize our social media strategy.
Content Creation:
· Generate creative ideas for social media content that align with current trends and resonate with our audience.
· Produce high-quality written content, including captions, blog posts, and articles, to accompany social media posts.
· Work closely with the design team to create visually appealing graphics, memes, and other multimedia content for social media.
Community Engagement:
· Engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
· Foster meaningful relationships with followers, influencers, and brand advocates to cultivate a loyal and engaged audience.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Film Production, or related field.
2. Proven experience 5 years or more in video production, with a strong portfolio showcasing your editing skills and creativity.
3. Extensive knowledge of video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva).
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling content and engage with diverse audiences.
5. Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and a keen eye for visual aesthetics.
6. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
7. Knowledge of current trends in digital marketing, social media, and popular culture.
8. Experience in TV industry is a plus.
