Insight Global are seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager (Construction) for a leading global technology infrastructure organisation.
This position requires fully remote working with occasional onsite travel in Belgium for a 12-month initial contract with extensions.
The Senior Technical Program Manager will lead the end-to-end delivery of large-scale, multi-site data centre construction programmes. This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving strategy, execution, and operational excellence across a portfolio of complex, mission-critical infrastructure builds. You will act as the primary point of contact onsite when required, ensuring seamless coordination between contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include owning delivery across preconstruction, commissioning, and turnover phases, with a strong emphasis on MEP-heavy scopes and commissioning lifecycle management. You will work closely with Project Control Managers and Construction Managers to integrate change management into the project scope, while ensuring alignment across design, engineering, and delivery teams.
Must-Have Requirements Include:Strong experience in construction project management within mission-critical infrastructure (e.g., data centres) Proven expertise managing commissioning processes through to project turnover Deep understanding of MEP systems and complex sequencing within large-scale builds Experience delivering core and shell construction, including civil foundations Background managing general contractors, vendors, and cross-functional delivery teams Experience overseeing full project lifecycle from preconstruction through completion Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Ability to operate as a senior onsite lead within high-visibility programmes
