Electrical Sales Engineer

As a Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and building strong relationships with our customers. You will be responsible for understanding the technical specifications and capabilities of our electrical products, and effectively communicating their benefits to potential clients. This position requires a solid background in electrical engineering, experience in the industry, and strong consultative selling skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with the sales team to identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities in various industries, such as commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.

- Conduct comprehensive product demonstrations, technical presentations, and site assessments to educate customers on the features and advantages of our company electrical solutions.

- Provide expert guidance to clients on the selection, application, and installation of our switchgear products to meet their specific requirements.

- Work closely with the engineering team to customize and configure solutions to address unique customer needs and project specifications.

- Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network, gather market intelligence, and showcase our latest innovations.

- Maintain a thorough understanding of market trends, competitor offerings, and evolving industry standards to ensure our company remain a leader in the electrical market.

- Coordinate with the support and installation teams to ensure seamless post-sales service and customer satisfaction.

- Contribute to the development of sales and marketing materials, including product catalogs, case studies, and technical whitepapers.

 


Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field- 5+ years of experience in a sales engineering or technical sales role within the industry.- Strong technical expertise and in-depth understanding of electrical systems design, applications, and safety standards.- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical information into clear, compelling narratives.- Proven track record of successful consultative selling, building long-term relationships with clients, and closing complex deals.- Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and certifications related to electrical power distribution equipment.- Willingness to travel to customer sites and attend industry events as needed.
