Role Description
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Natural Reserves Expert to join our team at Rawdat Al Faras Center for Houbara Breeding. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of wildlife reserves, conservation practices, and habitat management. Responsibilities include managing and conserving natural habitats within the reserve, conducting wildlife surveys and monitoring population dynamics, developing and implementing conservation programs, and collaborating with local communities and stakeholders. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Environmental Science, Ecology, or a related field is preferred
- 10+ years of experience in natural reserves management, conservation, or ecology
- Knowledge of local flora and fauna, and experience working in the Middle East region
- Experience in conservation research and monitoring techniques
- Ability to work with and manage a team of field staff and volunteers
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability to work collaboratively and in cross-functional teams
- Fluency in English and Arabic is preferred
