Backed by YC (W25), We are growing quickly and hiring modeling talent to support the evolution of their data labeling infrastructure.

Role: Financial Modeling Specialist (Contract) Type: Contract (hourly) Hours: 30–35 hours/week Rate: $30–$35/hour (with flexibility for exceptional candidates) Location: Remote (global applicants welcome; LATAM & EU time zones preferred)

The rate offered by the company will follow market trends for the location the candidates reside in.

???? What You’ll Do

Create complete end-to-end financial or business models used to train AI systems Review and refine models created by other analysts for structure, clarity, and effectiveness Collaborate with internal teams to improve modeling frameworks and best practices(Optional) Provide feedback and mentorship to other contributors, including hopping on calls to support junior team members Participate in regular working sessions with the Theta team to refine modeling standards

???? Who We’re Looking For

Strong breadth of modeling experience—across industries, use cases, or company types High agency: self-starter, comfortable building from vague instructions Backgrounds may include:Investment Banking Private Equity FP&A / Strategic Finance Corporate Finance / Consulting Accounting + Modeling hybrids Excel/Google Sheets power users Bonus: experience with labeling, structured data work, or AI training data

Intro Call: A brief call with the team to align expectations Take-Home Assignment: ~2-hour modeling task to assess structure, logic, and clarity Review & Feedback: Meet with the team to discuss your approach Start Contract Work: If successful, you’ll join the team on an hourly basis, starting at ~30–35 hrs/week
