We are looking for a Senior Dev Ops Engineer with deep Microsoft Azure expertise to drive our cloud infrastructure, automated delivery pipelines, and platform reliability. In this role, you will lead the architecture, deployment, and optimization of scalable cloud-native systems. You will work closely with software development and security teams to build resilient CI/CD pipelines, enforce Infrastructure as Code (IaC) standards, and maintain strict security and performance standards across our environment.
What You’ll DoAzure Infrastructure Management: Design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade Azure cloud infrastructure (AKS, Azure SQL, Azure App Services, Virtual Networks, Key Vaults) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Automated Delivery (CI/CD): Architect and maintain scalable, secure CI/CD pipelines using Azure Dev Ops Pipelines and Git Hub Actions to streamline software deployment. Containers & Orchestration: Manage production Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters, defining deployment strategies, ingress rules, auto-scaling policies, and cluster upgrades. System Monitoring & Observability: Implement comprehensive logging, monitoring, and alerting frameworks using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Prometheus, and Grafana to guarantee high uptime. Security & Compliance (Dev Sec Ops): Integrate security scanning (SAST/DAST, container scanning, secret detection) directly into automated pipelines and maintain strict Identity & Access Management (IAM) policies. Reliability & Performance: Drive incident response workflows, conduct root cause analyses (RCAs), optimize cloud expenditure, and establish core Reliability Engineering principles (SLOs, SLIs, SLAs).
Must-Haves5+ years of dedicated Dev Ops / Platform / Site Reliability Engineering experience. Deep Azure Expertise: Hands-on experience configuring and managing core Azure services, networking (VNets, Express Route, DNS), security, and IAM at scale. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Advanced proficiency with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM Templates. Containers & Kubernetes: Strong operational experience with Docker and production Kubernetes (AKS management, Helm charts, ingress controllers). CI/CD Mastery: Proven experience crafting multi-stage automated pipelines in Azure Dev Ops or Git Hub Actions. Scripting & Automation: High proficiency in Power Shell, Python, or Bash for task automation and systems management. Observability: Hands-on experience with centralized logging and performance monitoring (Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics).
Nice-to-Haves Certifications: Active Azure certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Dev Ops Engineer Expert or Azure Solutions Architect Expert). Git Ops Practices: Experience with Git Ops delivery tools such as Argo CD or Flux. Service Mesh: Familiarity with service mesh solutions like Istio or Linkerd. Multi-Cloud Exposure: Secondary experience with AWS or GCP. Database & Messaging Ops: Operational familiarity managing Azure SQL, Postgre SQL, Redis, or Azure Event Hubs / Service Bus. Fin Ops: Experience implementing cloud cost-optimization strategies and tools.
