Job Duties:
- Lead the design process for packaging materials, from brainstorming and sketching to creating prototypes.
- Evaluate consumer and market trends to inform packaging design decisions.
- Collaborate with marketing teams, copywriters, translators, and quality control to develop eye-catching designs.
- Present design concepts using sketches and design software, ensuring they successfully represent client brands.
- Ensure packaging designs align with the company's brand and ethos, meeting international standards.
- Select functional ideas and create packaging mock-ups.
- Redesign prototypes based on feedback from clients, engineers, and consumer safety groups.
- Prepare designs and colors for printing, and follow up with printing companies to ensure consistent quality.
- Resize ads, create product and brand ads, transport ads, and prepare them for digital or offline printing.
- Work closely with both international and local marketing teams to fulfill all offline and online design requirements.
- Collaborate with the digital marketing team to support their design needs when required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, art, or a related field.
- Marketing experience is preferred.
- Proven experience as a packaging designer.
- A natural talent for design with a keen eye for detail.
- Experience in market research and product placement advertising.
- Familiarity with various packaging materials.
- Knowledge of consumer packaging FDA, health, and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in 3D design software, including CAD or AutoCAD.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
