Role Overview
Jaidah Energy is recognized as a key technology & service provider for Qatar’s industrial sector which includes the dominant Oil & Gas industry.
We are looking for a Business Development professional to join our Well Services team and help us grow our market share and revenue in the oil and gas industry. You will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing and maintaining relationships with existing and potential clients, and promoting our well services portfolio.
What will be your responsibilities?
- Create a comprehensive business development and sales strategies.
- Enable new and untapped markets to be penetrated in addition to leveraging the strong core products and services.
- Being responsible for selling oilfield products, services, parts or solutions, mainly related to Drilling & Workover, Completion and Logging.
- Provide accurate monthly sales forecasts to the General Manager.
- Establish and maintain documented sales plan to cultivate a healthy sales pipeline through development of new opportunities, sales lead follow-up, and managing existing customer base.
- Working within assigned Major Accounts, understanding their strategic objectives and being able to facilitate mid- and high-level meetings between all stakeholders.
- Manages sales process to close new business including negotiation and overcoming customer objections.
- Manage the relationship with our technology partners and promote their product and technology in Qatar.
- Develop technical and commercial strategies for tender proposals.
- Provide both sales and technical support to customers.
This job might be for you if:
- Petroleum Engineering or equivalent.
- 10+ years Sales or Business Development experience
- 3+ years Oilfield Services experience
- Experience in Middle East
- Knowledge in Drilling & Workover, Completion and Logging.
- Knowledge in tender submission process.
- Proficiency in creating costing sheets, and experience in developing business plans.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with customers and partners
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills
- High level of negotiation skills.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field.
