At Amazon, we are working to be the most customer-centric company on earth. A customer’s ability to pay the way they want—quickly, securely, and with a method they trust—is fundamental to that mission. In many markets across the Middle East, North Africa, and Asia Pacific, customers prefer local payment methods : domestic card schemes, bank transfers, wallets and cash-on-delivery, . When these methods are missing, hard to use, or fail at checkout, customers abandon their purchase and lose trust. That is the problem this role exists to solve.
As the Senior Product Manager for Payment Acceptance & Experience, you will own the strategy and roadmap for how customers across MENA and APAC pay on Amazon using local payment methods. You will be responsible for expanding acceptance of the right methods in the right markets, and for making every one of those payment experiences fast, reliable, and delightful—from the moment a customer selects a payment option through authorization, retries, and confirmation.
