most critical and highpriority cases according to the guidelines of HI’s emergency rehabilitation interventions. </li><li>Under the supervision of the Physiotherapist pre-screening and prioritization for accurate assessment, planning, and provision of appropriate therapy to the beneficiaries including ongoing evaluation/re-assessment of the beneficiaries within the constraints of the project resources and using local resources at the fixed point, the beneficiaries’ home, and where relevant. </li><li>According to the outcomes of the assessment of the beneficiaries’ needs (taking into account her/his daily activities, the participation of her/his caregiver, etc.…), and consultation with the Rehab Officer develop an appropriate rehab intervention and treatment plan. </li><li>Ensure rehabilitation outcomes to a person should focus on achieving and maintaining “OPTIMAL FUNCTIONING” in interaction with their environment, personal, and outcome factors. </li><li>Familiarize yourself with the global physical and functional rehabilitation approaches of the Handicap International Federation (Humanity & Inclusion). </li><li>Inform the beneficiary and the caregiver about the importance of rehabilitation services to improve the physical situation and daily function. </li><li>Offer rehabilitation services based on the defined objectives between the beneficiary and the caregiver. </li><li>Review the most recent information on the beneficiary’s evolution before starting a treatment session and adapt your treatment or seek technical advice from your Rehabilitation exercises, modification of tasks, and home activities that the beneficiary can do on his/her own or with/without support from caregivers on the way to prevent complications or disabling situations. </li></ul><p> </p><h2>Responsibility 2: Provision of Assistive Devices and Rehabilitation Equipment Management </h2><p> </p><p>Identify the beneficiary’s needs (for critical and high-priority cases) in terms of assistive devices and mobility aids by seeking support from the Physiotherapist to ensure as per HI guidelines. </p><ul><li>Ensure that the device is adapted to user needs and provide clear explanations to guarantee its safe and proper use and maintenance. </li><li>Ensure a proper follow-up on the use and wean off the assistive device </li><li>Ensure the provision of assistive devices is made according to the strategy (quality and quantity) and the needs identified </li><li>Supervises and supports Rehabilitation assistants in the provision of assistive devices and rehabilitation equipment. </li><li>Enhance and Ensure quality by supporting Technical Officer (TO)- Rehabilitation in the provision of assistive devices and rehabilitation equipment </li><li>Anticipate and update the need for assistive devices stock and rehabilitation equipment to the Technical Officer – Rehabilitation to ensure the PSR is addressed as per identified need and Project Manager </li><li>Support TO in ensuring the quality of assistive devices and rehabilitation equipment in the warehouse as per the request of TO or as necessary. </li><li>Plan and utilize the recovering from severe and moderate acute malnutrition under the technical supervision of the Physiotherapist.</li><li>Support the Physiotherapist in conducting developmental screening and functional assessment of children referred for stimulation therapy.</li><li>Implement individualized stimulation activities according to the therapy plan developed by the Physiotherapist.</li><li>Conduct structured 30–45 minute stimulation sessions using age-appropriate physical, sensory, cognitive, communication, and play-based activities.</li><li>Engage caregivers throughout the sessions and demonstrate simple stimulation activities that they can safely continue with their children at home.</li><li>Use locally adapted Toy Box materials and other appropriate rehabilitation and play materials to facilitate physical, sensory, cognitive, and emotional stimulation.</li><li>Encourage positive interaction between children and caregivers and promote caregiver participation in all stimulation activities.</li><li>Observe children’s responses, progress, and any concerns during sessions and promptly report these to the Physiotherapist.</li><li>Support the Physiotherapist in conducting follow-up and final developmental assessments and documenting the child’s progress.</li><li>Maintain a safe, clean, child-friendly, and inclusive stimulation therapy environment and ensure appropriate use and care of rehabilitation materials and equipment.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of children receiving stimulation therapy, including attendance, sessions provided, caregiver participation, referrals, and follow-up.</li><li>Support identification of children who may require additional rehabilitation, health, protection, or other specialized services and communicate The realisation of our global strategy 2023-2027 “All girls standing strong creating global change” requires the accurate identification, analysis, and mitigation of safety and security risks in order to facilitate access and safety for development and humanitarian programming and influencing in Sudan. Therefore, this role has oversight for Plan International Sudan’s Office safety and security and ensures operations are within acceptable risk levels. The incumbent manages security focal point persons in all operational locations, whose role encompasses both traditional INGO safety and security management as well as various liaison and negotiation tasks that are critical to operating in Sudan.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Dimensions of Role</strong></p><p>This role is line managed by the Country Director (CD), and supervises all staff designated with security and liaison responsibilities, some of whom are stationed in programme areas.
