</p><ul><li>Supervise the daily and weekly movement planning according to project’s requests. </li><li>Ensure full compliance of ACF security rules for drivers (seatbelt use, speed limits, daily reporting, etc.). </li><li>Supervision of vehicle movements within the country. </li><li>Ensure the maintenance and fuel consumption of vehicles is monitored in accordance with Kit Log (logbook, fuel </strong></p><ul><li>Manage Logistics staff (officers, assistants) at Khartoum and base offices fairly and respectfully, irrespective of pay grade and job level of staff </li><li>Ensure proper training and refreshers training (on ACF Logs and safety and security procedures and protocols) for ACF and partner organizations’ Logs and security staff (including drivers, watchmen and guards) Mercy Corps’ current areas of programming include food security and livelihoods, WASH, health,<br>nutrition, peace building and protection, resilience, and Market Systems Development.<br>The EU Youth programme is an European Commission-funded action implemented by Mercy Corps in<br>consortium with the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) and local partners to support conflict- and<br>displacement-affected young people aged 15–35 in nine target states (of which Mercy Corps will work in<br>four (and potentially 5) states: South Darfur, Kassala, River Nile, and North and South Kordofans). The 42-<br>month program started in January 2026, and will respond to Sudan’s protracted crisis by combining shortterm<br>income opportunities with pathways to longer-term economic recovery, while strengthening protection<br>and social cohesion for youth, especially young women, internally displaced persons (IDPs), and youth with<br>disabilities.<br>Through an integrated approach, the EU Youth programme will deliver labour-intensive, community-based<br>public works and Cash for Work (CFW) activities that rehabilitate priority community assets and improve<br>access to services and markets, alongside market-relevant training, entrepreneurship support, and<br>linkages to employment and financial services (including VSLAs). All activities are designed using conflictand<br>inclusive approaches and are informed by assessments, with protection mainstreaming and<br>community safety measures embedded where feasible to support safe participation and reduce<br>vulnerabilities.</p><p><br><strong>POSITION SUMMARY</strong><br>The Grants and Partnerships Coordinator will support the EU Youth programme (EMPOWER), leading the<br>day-to-day management of the programme’s partnerships with five local implementing partner NGOs<br>across the five target states. Reporting directly to the Regional Programme Manager, the Country Coordinator will be responsible for the strategic leadership, programme coordination, and operational management of SIHA?s work in Sudan. The role includes ensuring high-quality project implementation, maintaining accountability to donors and communities, leading staff and managing resources, and strengthening SIHA?s feminist movement-building, visibility, and advocacy for women?s rights and gender justice in Sudan. </p><p> </p><p><strong>Key Roles and Responsibilities</strong> </p><p><strong>1. Strategy, Business & Programme Development</strong> </p><ul><li>Lead the design and implementation of SIHA?s Sudan strategy, ensuring alignment with SIHA?s regional objectives and strategic plan. </li><li>Develop annual country work plans and budgets, ensuring strategic and impactful use of resources. </li><li>Support programme design, fundraising initiatives, and new project development in collaboration with the Regional Programme Unit. </li><li>Contribute to SIHA?s triennial strategic planning with contextual insights from Sudan. </li></ul><p><strong>2. Programme Implementation & Coordination</strong> </p><ul><li>Oversee effective delivery of all project activities in Sudan, ensuring compliance with SIHA, donor, and statutory requirements. </li><li>Ensure robust project monitoring, accountability, and learning mechanisms are in place, including data-driven decision-making and documentation of impact. </li><li>Conduct regular field visits to review progress, identify risks, and ensure timely delivery of outputs and outcomes. </li><li>Provide technical support and guidance to the Sudan project teams to enhance programme quality. </li><li>Develop and ensure timely submission of reports (programme and financial) in line with donor and SIHA requirements. </li></ul><p><strong>3. Strategic Representation & Advocacy</strong> </p><ul><li>Act as SIHA?s primary representative in Sudan, cultivating strong relationships with government stakeholders, civil society, donors, and advocacy coalitions advancing feminist agendas and women?s rights. </li><li>Collaborate with SIHA?s Advocacy and Communications teams to amplify programmatic achievements and highlight emerging issues affecting women in Sudan. </li><li>Represent SIHA in national, regional, and international forums, coordination platforms, and advocacy coalitions. </li></ul><p><strong>4.
