Officer is responsible for ensuring the proper implementation of monitoring & evaluation, accountability & learning, and information management systems.</p><h4>Duties and tools and databases</h2><p> Is responsible for the implementation and the exploitation of the data collection tools:</p><ul><li>Designs, programmes and tests the digital data collection forms in XLSForm, including relevance and constraint logic, calculations, multilingual labels (English and Arabic) and validation rules;</li><li>Deploys the forms on the programme's mobile data collection platform (SurveyCTO), manages users, roles, devices and form versions;</li><li>Sets up and maintains case management workflows where projects follow individuals over time (rehabilitation, victim keeps an up-to-date inventory of the forms and databases in use;</li><li>Implements procedures for data quality and consistency control: verification, cleaning, deduplication and back-checks, and corrects errors with the project teams;</li><li>Applies HI disaggregation rules on all tools: sex, age and disability using the Washington Group questions;</li><li>Documents the data flow of each project, from collection to storage, access, analysis and destruction;</li><li>Ensures the coherency and the integration of these tools and databases across projects and bases, so that information can <p>Section/Unit: Program<br>Grade Level: 6<br>Supervisor: National Information Management Officer<br>Duty Station: Khartoum<br>Duration: 6 Months<br>Closing Date: 30 Sept 2026</p><h4>Background</h4><p><strong>Purpose of the Position:</strong></p><p>In the context of the WHO Health Emergencies Incident Management System (IMS), and the Health Cluster at the country level, the incumbent will work with Health Cluster, and other key stakeholders to support the implementation of a standardized approach to the health cluster emergency response activities in Sudan. Initially the incumbent will be focused on supporting the Sub-national Health Cluster team in East Zone, Sudan with support to the national Health Cluster Coordinator on the Humanitarian Needs Overview.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Objectives of the Program and of the immediate Strategic Objective:</strong></p><p>The mission of WHO’s Health Emergencies Program (The Program) is to help countries, and to coordinate<strong> </strong>international action, to prevent, prepare for, detect, rapidly respond to, and recover from outbreaks and emergencies.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Organizational context (Describe the individual role of incumbent within the team, focusing on work environment within and outside the organization):</strong></p><p>The IMO under the direction of the Health Cluster Coordinator, East Zone as indicated in the TORs, when and where appropriate, within the structure of WHO Incident Management System.
