It requires a dedicated, experienced and highly motivated individual who can manage the difficulties of living and working in such an environment and still be fundamental in helping to drive forward our programmes and our ambitions. </p><h4>Duties and responsibilities</h4><ul><li>Provide daily performance and quality monitoring of implemented project(s) within assigned state or project.</li><li>Share findings/gaps from field monitoring visits with project respective staff and agree and document actions for improvement.</li><li>Generate and share timely weekly field monitoring reports to Hub MEAL Manager </li><li>Work with project staff to monthly update the project Indicator Performance Tracking Table (IPTT) and Output Tracker Template (OTT) and summary of project monthly achievements/gaps, and help identify and alert critical gaps in a timely manner.</li><li>Conduct regular data quality assessments to ensure SC have complete, accurate and credible data to use for decision making and reporting. </li><li>Maintain and consolidate monthly action plan trackers.</li><li>Ensure information about the project is shared with affected populations specifically information about the available accountability mechanisms for beneficiaries to share feedback and raise complaints. </li><li>Conduct regular feedback sessions with beneficiaires to collect feedback and complaints, refer them to concerned staff and ensure documentation on the database and follow up for resolution.</li><li>Monitor and report the status of community participation specifically child participation. </li><li>Assist Hub MEAL Manager in preparing and revising first draft of monthly MEAL reports to MEAL Manager/PDQ Director for submission to SMT.</li><li>Assist Hub MEAL Manager in all MEAL tasks, including monitoring reports and implementation of<i> </i>assessments, evaluation and impact studies.</li><li>Provide support on admin, logistics and operations tasks for MEAL functions in the field, i.e., needs assessments, consultant’s baseline and evaluation, etc.</li><li>Maintain accurate field database of program data and provide requested data on a timely basis. </li><li>Provide weekly progress tracking update to project manager and MEAL Manager </li><li>Contribute to a culture of accountability and transparency on the team</li><li>Where necessary, support the implementation of needs, baseline, and end line assessments and surveys;</li><li>Work with MEAL and programme teams to utilise data from trackers for quality improvement;</li><li>Assist the MEAL Manager in building field understanding and capacity in MEAL work</li><li>Any other tasks given by line manager.</li></ul><p><strong>Child Safeguarding:</strong></p><ul><li>Act as an ambassador for child safeguarding in both your professional and personal life. Job Summary: </strong></p><p>The MEAL Officer is assuming to be Responsible of the overall responsibility to lead the monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning tasks in the project. The post holder functions these responsibilities in close collaboration with managers, coordinators and program team. The activities could include providing inputs for project design, ensuring project team have appropriate monitoring and reporting formats, conducting field visits and produce alert messages and successful practices, leading project review meetings to measure progress against targets, ensure agreed accountability mechanisms are oriented, implemented and reported, provide training to build the capacity of CARE and partners staff in relation of MEAL function, S/he also will be actively involved in coordinating evaluations;
