Since its establishment, COOPI has been undertaking activities to help and empower the poor and needy in different countries. COOPI has started its operation in Sudan since 2004 supporting people in need living Sudan which are affected both by natural and human related disasters including drought and conflict. COOPI-Sudan focuses on two main programmatic pillars which are Emergency Response and Early Recovery programs.</p><p>The Human Resources Manager is responsible for leading and managing all HR functions of the mission, ensuring compliance with national labour legislation, organizational policies, donor requirements, and humanitarian best practices. The activities could include providing inputs for project design, ensuring project team have appropriate monitoring and reporting formats, conducting field visits and produce alert messages and successful practices, leading project review meetings to measure progress against targets, ensure agreed accountability mechanisms are oriented, implemented and reported, provide training to build the capacity of CARE and partners staff in relation of MEAL function, S/he also will be actively involved in coordinating evaluations; The incumbent manages security focal point persons in all operational locations, whose role encompasses both traditional INGO safety and security management as well as various liaison and negotiation tasks that are critical to operating in Sudan.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Dimensions of Role</strong></p><p>This role is line managed by the Country Director (CD), and supervises all staff designated with security and liaison responsibilities, some of whom are stationed in programme areas.
