In particular, the sector includes: FSL, Health, Nutrition, Protection, WASH, and cash programs. SUDO is currently operating through 12 well-established field offices. </p><h4>Duties and responsibilities</h4><p>Under the direct supervision of the MEAL Coordinator, the Senior MEAL officer will lead MEAL activities guided by SUDO MEAL manual and donor requirements. The role contributes to improving access, retention, and learning outcomes while reducing protection risks such as child labor, early marriage, and exploitation. The position ensures alignment with project design, INEE Minimum Standards, World Vision education in emergency implementation standard, and integrated multi-sector responses, working closely with government, clusters, and communities. Offers support to all the 1 PHCs, and 1 Mobile team in Jebel Awliya locality Khartoum states. The support is directly offered to the Health and Nutrition staff seconded to MoH at targeted HFs at the locality level. Acceleration of all the activities in the models stated above. Oversee all capacity building initiatives for community groups and support the health and nutrition officers to align to the Sudan requirements for those small groups. Job Summary: </strong></p><p>The <strong>Feedback and Accountability Mechanism Officer </strong>/Hotline Operator is responsible for managing the day-to-day operation of CARE’s toll-free and other feedback channels at the field office level. The post holder ensures communities, IDPs, and persons of concern have safe, confidential, and accessible means to provide feedback, ask questions, and raise complaints. The role functions in close collaboration with the Accountability Officer, MEAL team, and Program staff to uphold CARE’s Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP) commitments.</p><p>Activities include receiving and registering all calls, ensuring ethical and professional caller engagement, maintaining the FAM database, referring cases for action, and contributing to reporting and learning on feedback trends. Mercy Corps Sudan is recognized as a leader in market systems, agricultural, and food security and building on this experience, the MC Sudan humanitarian program will layer in resilience and other program activities where appropriate and feasible to do so. Mercy Corps’ current areas of programming include food security and livelihoods, WASH, health, nutrition, peace building and protection, resilience, and Market Systems Development.</p><p><br>The EU Youth programme is an European Commission-funded action implemented by Mercy Corps in consortium with the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) and local partners to support conflict- and displacement-affected young people aged 15–35. The 42-month program started in January 2026, and will respond to Sudan’s protracted crisis by combining short-term income opportunities with pathways to longer-term economic recovery, while strengthening protection and social cohesion for youth, especially young women, internally displaced persons (IDPs), and youth with disabilities.</p><p><br>Through an integrated approach, the EU Youth programme will deliver labour-intensive, community-based public works and Cash for Work (CfW) activities that rehabilitate priority community assets and improve access to services and markets, alongside market-relevant training, entrepreneurship support, and linkages to employment and financial services (including VSLAs). All activities are designed using conflict- and inclusive approaches and are informed by assessments, with protection mainstreaming and community safety measures embedded where feasible to support safe participation and reduce vulnerabilities.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Position Summary</strong></p><p><br>The Livelihood and Employment Coordinator provides technical coordination and quality assurance for the EU Youth programme’s livelihoods, entrepreneurship, and MSME support interventions, with primary responsibility for Output 2: Strengthened technical and financial capacities of self-employed youth and micro and small businesses, with a specific focus on Activity 2.2 (entrepreneurship programmes, start-up kits, financial literacy, B2B networking, and entrepreneurship hubs). <p>Vacancy No: 17658<br>Section/Unit: Child Protection<br>Grade Level: NAT 5<br>Supervisor: Child Protection Coordinator<br>No. of Post: 1<br>Duty Station: Nyala<br>Duration: 10 Months<br>Closing Date: 24 Sept 2026</p><h4>Background</h4><p><strong>ROLE</strong></p><p>The Information Management Assistant supports the management of Child Protection case management data by ensuring timely, accurate, and confidential data entry, verification, and reporting. S/he maintains the Information Management System (IMS), conducts data quality checks, supports the use of standardized case management tools, and ensures all case files are complete and properly documented. The role works closely with case workers and the Information Management Coordinator to produce regular reports and support the implementation of CPIMS+ and other information management systems in accordance with data protection and safeguarding standards.</p><h4>Duties and responsibilities</h4><p><strong>MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><ul><li>Support the planning and delivery of training sessions on information management systems, data collection, data quality, and documentation tools for Child Protection staff. </li><li> Provide ongoing coaching and technical support to case workers to strengthen data management and reporting practices. </li><li> Promote the effective use of information management tools, standard forms, and digital platforms to ensure accurate and timely data entry and reporting. </li><li> Build the capacity of case workers and other relevant staff on IMS procedures, data quality standards, and confidentiality requirements.</li></ul><p><strong>Data Entry and Information Management</strong></p><ul><li> Enter, update, and maintain accurate and timely case management data in approved information management systems, including CPIMS+. </li><li>Conduct routine data quality checks and ensure data completeness, accuracy, and consistency. </li><li>Generate regular reports, statistics, and data analyses to support program monitoring and decision-making. </li><li>Maintain secure and organized filing systems for open and closed case records. </li><li>Ensure regular database backup and compliance with data protection, confidentiality, and information-sharing protocols. </li><li> Support the establishment and implementation of standardized information management systems and procedures. </li><li>Provide technical support and guidance to case workers on data management tools, documentation, and reporting requirements.</li></ul><p><strong>Other Duties</strong></p><ul><li>Work with the IMO and supervisors to monitor data collection through consistency checks</li><li>Participate in any other activities as may be assigned to you by your supervisor from time to time.</li><li>Comply with all relevant Save the Children International policies and procedures with respect to child protection, code of conduct, health and safety, security, equal opportunities and other relevant policies</li></ul><p><strong> MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE</strong></p><ul><li>Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), Management Information Systems (MIS), Statistics, or a related field.</li><li>Relevant experience in information management, data management, database administration, or reporting.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.</li><li>Experience using information management systems, databases, or digital data collection platforms is an added advantage.</li><li>Good understanding of data protection, confidentiality, and data quality standards.</li><li>Strong analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.</li><li>Good written and verbal communication skills in English.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently, and meet deadlines.</li><li>Experience in humanitarian or Child Protection programming is desirable.</li><li>Commitment to learning and professional development.</li></ul><p><strong>SKILLS AND BEHAVIOURS (SCI Values in Practice</strong>)</p><p><strong>Accountability:</strong></p><ul><li>Holds self-accountable for making decisions, managing resources efficiently, achieving and role modelling Save the Children values.</li><li>Ensure a strict adherence to the principles of child protection and child safeguarding at all times, including respect for confidentiality and always acting in the best interests of the child.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Ambition: </strong></p><ul><li>Sets ambitious and challenging goals for themselves, takes responsibility for their own personal development and encourages others to do the same.</li><li>Widely shares their personal vision for Save the Children, engages and motivates others.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Collaboration: </strong></p><ul><li>Builds and maintains effective relationships, with their team, colleagues and with relevant external partners.</li><li>Approachable, good listener, easy to talk to.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Creativity: </strong>Develops and encourages new and innovative solutions</p><ul><li>Willing to take disciplined risks.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Integrity: </strong>honest, encourages openness and transparency; demonstrates highest levels of integrity</p><h4>Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required</h4><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in information management, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Social Sciences, or a related field.</li><li>Two of Experience in data management, reporting, or information management.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.</li><li>Strong communication, organizational, and report-writing skills.</li><li>Understanding of data protection and confidentiality principles.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a team.</li><li>Fluency in Arabic;
