Protection Technical Support</p><ul><li>Provide technical guidance on protection mainstreaming, case referral pathways, and community-based protection approaches.</li><li>Work with partners to strengthen community structures (MAGs, ERRs, women groups, youth groups) to safely identify and address protection concerns.</li><li>Update and map local protection referral pathways in all operational areas.</li><li>Contribute to rapid needs assessments with a protection lens, including in new or emerging crisis locations.</li></ul></td></tr><tr><td><p>C. Field Monitoring & Quality Assurance</p><ul><li>Conduct regular field visits to monitor protection conditions, assess risks, and verify the quality of partner interventions.</li><li>Monitor community feedback, complaints, and sensitive cases—ensuring referral and response follow appropriate protocols.</li><li>Document protection trends, gaps, and priority need to inform programme adaptations and strategic planning.</li><li>Participate in several different types of reporting, including drafting training reports, field visit reports, donor reports, protection reports, supporting in the drafting of the DCA Annual Report, and other types of reporting relevant to protection and MHPSS, as requested. </li><li>Contribute to the development of protection-related projects or project activities.</li></ul></td></tr><tr><td><p>D. Capacity Strengthening of Partners</p><ul><li>Assess partner capacity gaps in protection, safeguarding, and safe programming.</li><li>Developing and implementing protection capacity strengthening plans for DCA and partner staff. </li><li>Support partners in developing/revising protection tools, SoPs, and reporting templates.</li><li>Innovation and Improvement: Continuously seeking opportunities for innovation and improvement in Protection projects design, implementation, and impact. </li><li> </li></ul><p>E. Coordination & Representation</p><ul><li>Represent DCA in relevant cluster meetings (Protection, CP, GBV, AoRs) when delegated.</li><li>Engage with local authorities, community leaders, and humanitarian actors on protection issues.</li><li>Contribute to protection analysis for strategic planning, donor proposals, and advocacy.</li><li>F.
