Evaluations & reporting </strong></p><p>• Support timely and accurate internal and external WASH reporting, including weekly updates, monthly reports, quarterly reports, SitReps, annual reports, HAC bi-annual and annual reports. </p><p>• Participate in baseline surveys, needs assessments, monitoring visits, inspections, and project evaluations to track progress, quality, impact, and donor compliance. </p><p>• Monitor the implementation and quality of WASH activities, identify gaps and challenges, and provide timely updates and recommendations to the Project Project Coordinator and Base meetings, cluster meetings, field assessments, and partner engagements as assigned by the Project Coordinator or State WASH Coordinator, and share key updates for follow-up action.</p><p> </p><p><strong>5.Capacity building </strong></p><p>• Build the capacity of WASH committees, community volunteers, key project staff, and NNGO partners on the management, operation, and maintenance of WASH facilities, including water chlorination, hygiene promotion, and basic facility monitoring. </p><p>• Support training and coaching of partners and community structures in the implementation of WASH and construction activities to ensure quality, sustainability, and compliance with project standards.</p><p><strong>1.Required Professional Experience</strong></p><ul><li> At least 5 years of field-based experience in H&N implementation, with a strong H&N project implementation background and experience working in conflict-prone or fragile contexts. </li><li> Proficiency in project planning, staff training, supportive supervision, report writing and local partner engagement. </li><li> Practical experience in implementing H&N project models, including nutrition promotion, behaviour change, and community-based approaches.</li><li>Experience supporting H&N assessments, proposal development, project reporting, and donor-compliant documentation.</li><li>Experience In Sudan, UNEP implements environmental governance, climate resilience, natural resource management and recovery programmes in partnership with national, state and local authorities, communities, civil society organizations and development partners.</p><p>Dinder National Park is one of Sudan’s most important protected areas and supports significant biodiversity, wildlife habitats, seasonal wetlands, forests, rangelands and water systems. The park is also closely connected to the livelihoods and resource-use practices of communities in the surrounding areas of Sennar, Gedaref and Blue Nile states.</p><p>Climate change, land degradation, agricultural expansion, population displacement, weak natural resource governance and increasing demand for land, water, forest products and grazing resources have placed considerable pressure on the park and its surrounding landscapes. These pressures have contributed to the degradation of wildlife habitats, blockage and sedimentation of mayas and seasonal water channels, loss of vegetation cover, soil erosion, expansion of cultivation into ecologically sensitive areas, unsustainable use of forest resources, human–wildlife interactions and conflicts among farmers, pastoralists, communities and park authorities.</p><p>The conflict that began in April 2023 has further affected livelihoods, public infrastructure, markets, institutional capacities and access to natural resources. Supervise, organize and plan the activity of Data Entry officers/operators, as well as identify their training needs in order to provide a good service support and reliability of the data collected. according to the project objectives, MSF values, standards and procedures.</p><h4>Duties and responsibilities</h4><ul><li>Supervise, organize and plan the activity of Data Entry officers to have a reliable record of medical activity performed, as well as identify their training/technical support needs in order to provide a good service support and reliability of the data collected.</li><li>Ensure collation and entry of all data identified by project managers for collection (e.g. morbidity, mortality, surveillance of diseases of epidemics, nutrition, psychological and women’s health, etc) into the appropriate data management system while ensuring quality of data</li><li>Do quality control data officers’ performance on regular basis</li><li>Know and ensure proper use of software used for recording (i.e. HMIS, Epi Info,linelists etc.).</li><li>Ensure accuracy of the medical data entered into the mission’s database on a regular basis, according to MSF protocols and carry out regular back-ups.</li><li>Provide technical support to data entry officers/operators in project sites and give response to their training needs.</li><li>Provide regular statistical reports for the medical team as well as informing the superior of any missing information, major changes or big differences in data.</li></ul><p><strong>MSF Section/Context Specific Accountabilities</strong></p><ul><li>Oversee data collection, management, and analysis activities for the <strong>North Kordofan</strong> project.</li><li>Develop, update, and enforce <strong>data entry protocols and guidelines</strong> to ensure uniformity and consistency across all project sites, in alignment with MSF standards and objectives.</li><li><strong>Coordinate closely with the Epidemiologist LHS and IMS</strong> and <strong>HMIS Team</strong> to ensure data management systems function optimally, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues encountered by data managers and supervisors at health facility and service levels.</li><li><strong>Monitor and evaluate the timeliness and completeness</strong> of data collection and reporting from all locations, identify delays or gaps, and implement corrective actions as needed.</li><li><strong>Liaise with Medical Project Managers</strong> to ensure that data collected meets evolving project needs, including the integration of new indicators when required.</li><li><strong>Lead and organize regular training sessions and workshops</strong> for data entry staff on topics such as data quality and integrity, data protection and security codes, and proper use of medical data software and HMIS tools, with the aim of continuously improving data quality.</li><li><strong>Prepare and present medical data and analyses during project meetings / reports to support</strong> informed decision-making.</li><li>Collaborate with <strong>health facilities</strong> and the <strong>State Ministry of Health (SMoH)</strong> to collect, compile, validate, and report health data from MSF structures, ensuring data quality, accuracy, and timely submission.</li></ul><h4>Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required</h4><figure class="table"><table><tbody><tr><td><strong>Education</strong></td><td><p>Essential Diploma s either in administration, data entry or in statistics.
