Coordination, Reporting and Representation (5%)</strong></p><p>The Consortium MEAL Officer will contribute to effective coordination and communication within the Consortium Management Unit and among consortium partners to ensure timely reporting and informed decision-making.</p><ul><li>Support the Consortium MEAL Manager in preparing high-quality monitoring reports, verification reports, donor updates, presentations, dashboards, and analytical summaries for consortium leadership and external stakeholders.</li><li>Maintain monitoring schedules, action trackers, verification logs, and partner performance databases to ensure timely follow-up on recommendations and management decisions.</li><li>Coordinate with consortium partners to schedule monitoring visits, verification exercises, assessments, and learning activities while minimizing disruption to programme implementation.</li><li>Participate in consortium coordination meetings, technical working groups, grant review meetings, and donor monitoring missions as delegated by the Consortium MEAL Manager or Consortium Coordinator.</li><li>Represent the Consortium Management Unit during field visits, technical meetings, and partner engagements, promoting collaborative relationships while maintaining objectivity, impartiality, and professional standards.</li></ul><p>Perform any other MEAL, monitoring, verification, or quality assurance responsibilities assigned by the Consortium MEAL Manager or Consortium Coordinator in support of effective consortium management. </p><h4>Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required</h4><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Monitoring & Evaluation, Statistics, Development Studies, Public Health, Social Sciences, Humanitarian Studies, or related field.</li><li>Three years of progressive work experience with an NGO or INGO in the humanitarian and development sector </li><li>Professional certification in Monitoring & Evaluation.</li><li>Training in Quality Assurance or Humanitarian Accountability.</li><li>Experience across Health, Nutrition, WASH, Protection, FSL, or Multi-sector humanitarian responses.</li><li>Expertise in computer and applications such as DHIS, SPSS, ThinkMD, IRHIS, MS Office, and other analysis software </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders, including affected populations, staff, and partners.</li><li>Knowledge of local languages (Arabic and English) will be an added advantage.</li><li>Flexibility and willingness to travel extensively to different States as required by program needs such DQAs, training, evaluations, baselines, assessments, etc and as the safety allows. </li></ul><p><strong>KEY BEHAVIORS & ABILITIES</strong></p><ul><li>Displays exceptional interpersonal skills, including strong verbal and written communication abilities and the ability to negotiate effectively.</li><li>Takes responsibility for decision-making, efficient resource management, and exemplifying Alight's values, holding themselves accountable.</li><li>Establishes ambitious goals for themselves and their team, consistently striving for personal development and inspiring others to do the same.</li><li>Cultivates and maintains productive relationships with team members, colleagues, partners, and community stakeholders.</li><li>Collaborates effectively as a team player, encouraging creative and innovative approaches to problem-solving.</li><li>Demonstrates a willingness to take calculated risks while adhering to established security standards.</li><li>Emphasizes honesty, transparency, and commitment to Alight's values, fostering a culture of openness.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Borderless Team</strong> of a huge number of staff worldwide that sees possibilities, celebrates moments of abundance, shares new ideas, and strives to do a better thing every day.</li><li><strong>Learning & Development </strong>– Access thousands of free online learning courses to take at your own pace and tailor to your professional goals.</li></ul><p><strong>Important:</strong></p><p>Kindly note that accommodation is not provided.</p><p><br>
