<p>Section/Unit: Cash & Voucher Assistance<br>Grade Level: 9<br>Supervisor: Cash Program Manager<br>No. of Post: 1<br>Duty Station: Khartoum<br>Duration: 6 Months<br>Closing Date: 28 August 2026</p><h4>Background</h4><ol><li><strong>Job Summary: </strong></li></ol><p>The Cash Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the Cash Transfer Programs under CARE International in Sudan’s response strategy. This position entails strategic leadership in the planning, execution, and monitoring of cash programs aimed at supporting vulnerable populations affected by conflict in Sudan. The Cash Project Manager will ensure the program's alignment with CARE's strategic objectives and donor requirements while promoting accountability, compliance, and high-quality implementation. The role demands close collaboration with internal teams, partners, stakeholders, and beneficiaries to maximize the impact of cash-based interventions.</p><h4>Duties and responsibilities</h4><p><strong>1- Program Strategy and Leadership:</strong></p><ul><li>Develop and lead the overall strategy for cash transfer programs, ensuring alignment with CARE’s humanitarian objectives and donor guidelines. </li><li> Provide strategic oversight and direction to program teams in the design, implementation, and scaling of cash-based interventions. </li><li> Foster innovation and continuous improvement in program delivery by integrating best practices and lessons learned. </li><li>Represent CARE International in high-level coordination meetings with donors, partners, and other stakeholders, advocating for effective cash assistance strategies. </li></ul><p><strong>2- Program Implementation and Management:</strong></p><ul><li>Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of cash transfer programs, ensuring that all activities are conducted in a timely, efficient, and transparent manner. </li><li>Oversee the beneficiary identification and registration processes, ensuring adherence to CARE’s targeting criteria and methodologies. </li><li>Ensure the effective management of program resources, including budgets, human resources, and logistics, in line with CARE’s policies and donor requirements.</li><li> Collaborate with sector leads within CARE to ensure integrated program delivery and maximization of impact.</li></ul><p><strong>3- Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting:</strong></p><ul><li>Develop and implement a comprehensive monitoring and evaluation framework to assess the effectiveness and impact of cash transfer programs. </li><li>Ensure the timely collection and analysis of data to inform program adjustments and decision-making.</li><li>Prepare and submit high-quality reports on program progress, challenges, and outcomes to CARE’s senior management and donors. </li><li>Lead the documentation of best practices, lessons learned, and success stories to enhance future program designs and proposals.</li></ul><p><strong>4. Capacity Building and Quality Assurance:</strong></p><ul><li> Identify capacity-building needs within the program team and local partners, providing training and support to enhance their skills in cash programming. </li><li>Ensure that all program activities comply with CARE’s quality standards, donor regulations, and international best practices. </li><li>Implement accountability mechanisms, including feedback and complaints systems, to ensure the program's responsiveness to beneficiaries' needs.</li></ul><p><strong>5. Compliance, Risk Management, and Accountability:</strong></p><ul><li>Oversee the implementation of compliance frameworks to ensure that all cash assistance activities adhere to CARE’s policies, donor requirements, and local laws. </li><li>Monitor and manage risks associated with cash programming, including fraud, security, and operational risks.</li><li>Ensure that all protection issues, including safeguarding concerns, are promptly reported and addressed in line with CARE’s protocols. </li></ul><p><strong>IV. Contacts and Key Relationships:</strong></p><ul><li>The position contact includes all CARE staff at field office and related local authorities, UN, NGOs and partners.</li></ul><p><strong>V. Working Conditions:</strong></p><ul><li>As stated in the terms of contract and the CARE HR manual.</li></ul><h4>Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required</h4><p><strong>Required:</strong></p><ul><li>bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as economics, business, international development, humanitarian studies, or another related field.</li><li><strong>Desired: </strong></li><li>Master’s degree in a relevant field.</li><li>Certified in Project Management (e.g. PMD Pro) or equivalent combination of education and work experience is an asset.</li></ul><p><strong>Skills and Experience Required:</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum of <strong>6 years’ experience</strong> of working with NGOs in fragile and humanitarian settings with<strong> Minimum 4 years</strong> of experience in designing and implementing cash assistance in humanitarian settings.</li><li>Training in Cash and voucher assistance and market-based approaches (CALP, MERS, sectoral such as WASH, Health, Nutrition).</li><li>Training in gender.</li><li>Strong contextual knowledge of Sudan ‐ social, cultural, and economic context, priorities, and constraints</li><li>Knowledge of the humanitarian program cycle, humanitarian coordination frameworks, and the general humanitarian funding landscape.</li><li>Commitment to equal opportunity and gender equality.</li><li>Demonstrated experience in integrating gender and diversity issues into programs.</li></ul><p>

<p>Vacancy No: KT26-01<br>Salary: 608 USD<br>Section/Unit: Program<br>Grade Level: D<br>Supervisor: Managerial to: ICT and Logistics Manager / Supply Chain Coordinator, Technical to: Health & Nutrition Unit<br>No. of Post: 1<br>Duty Station: Khartoum<br>Closing Date: 19 Sept 2026</p><h4>Background</h4><p>The Medical Warehouse Assistant, under the supervision of the ICT and Logistics Manager and in coordination with the Health & Nutrition (H&N) unit, is responsible for receiving, storing, managing and supplying drugs, medical materials and related supplies from the Khartoum central warehouse to field offices and health facilities.</p><h4>Duties and responsibilities</h4><p><strong>Storage:</strong></p><ul><li>Ensure proper storage, classification and organization of general warehouse items, including (non-medical items, drugs, medical and laboratory supplies, therapeutic food items), according to ALIGHT protocols and standard warehouse storage regulations.</li><li>Ensure, in cooperation with logistics, good storage conditions in the warehouse (temperatures, humidity & light exposure) using standard tools like daily temperature control.</li><li>Ensure, in cooperation with the logistics department, that the cold chain is functioning properly.</li><li>Ensure that there is enough space available for receiving and checking orders.</li></ul><p><strong>Stock Management:</strong></p><ul><li>Keep records in files about all Warehouse items, including medical and non-medical materials, according to ALIGHT protocols, both on paper-based and computer-based tools.</li><li> Update stock files upon arrival of new orders or when preparing a supply to send.</li><li> Inventory management and storekeeping, preparing warehouse reports on a monthly basis </li><li>Correctly manage and account for all incoming and outgoing stock by using well-maintained and detailed documentation, goods received note, store release, waybills, stock /bin card, etc. </li><li>Ensure proper Transportation of supplies with logistics.</li><li>Continuously inform the program staff of the stock levels in the warehouse and offer advice on the utilization of the stock, looking at the different grants. </li><li>Manage Medical and Non-medical stock as per ALIGHT protocol by doing proper follow-up of expiry dates and physical inventory.</li></ul><p><strong>Supply:</strong></p><ul><li>Supply drugs, medical materials, therapeutic and non-therapeutic food to field offices, health and nutrition projects according to orders validated by the pharmacist.</li><li>Prepare all supplies requested from different Program departments.</li><li>Coordinate with (SMOH nutrition, EPI, WHO) regarding supplies to ensure efficient receipt, storage & unloading of non-medical, medical – paramedical supplies/equipment for humanitarian assistance.</li><li>Take ultimate responsibility and accountability for the management of the Khartoum central medical warehouse, in consultation with Logistics, Health and Nutrition, Supply Chain Coordinator and the Program Manager.</li></ul><p><strong>Reception of Orders:</strong></p><ul><li>Reception of ALIGHT orders and incoming consignments at the Khartoum central warehouse from suppliers and freight forwarders.</li><li>Check quality and state of orders received, checking package status, packing lists, expiry dates, and batch numbers.</li><li>Ensure proper disposal of expired items according to ALIGHT safety standards and waste management protocols in collaboration with the logistics department and the pharmacist.</li><li>Always keep all areas of warehouses and storerooms closed and locked when not in use.</li><li>Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the warehouse area.</li></ul><p><strong>Equipment:</strong></p><ul><li>Look after all equipment provided.</li></ul><h4>Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required</h4><ul><li>Minimum of 1 year of experience in warehouse management with NGO experience </li><li>bachelor's / Diploma in Pharmacy</li><li>Fluent Arabic and English</li><li>Very good with Excel</li><li>Very good reporting skills</li><li>Flexible with time</li><li>Works under pressure<br><br><strong>KEY BEHAVIORS & ABILITIES</strong></li><li>Ability to work well under unstable security environments and administrative and programmatic pressures.</li><li>Demonstrated ability and flexibility to adapt to changing requirements.</li><li>Ability to work independently in a rapidly changing professional environment</li><li>Ability to work independently while being a strong team player.</li><li>Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.</li><li>A team builder with excellent people skills;
