including annual work plans, performance monitoring plans, repots as required.</li><li>Lead the continuous assessment of Child Protection needs during emergancies and ensure that these are appropriately reflected in sectoral strategies and programmes;</li><li>Work collaboratively with other emergency units and sectors on ways to integrate child protection with other programmes, where relevant, in order to maximize impact for children and families;</li><li>Ensure reports to donors are of the highest quality, that there is alignment between the narrative and financial, and that they are submitted in a timely fashion ;</li><li>With the MEAL Manager and Coordinators, contribute on the development of tools to monitor and improve the quality of child protection work. </li><li>Where necessary provide technical training for staff and partners on child protection related topics as required.</li><li>Lead the process of lessons learning and development of success stories in coordination with MEAL and communication </li><li>Improve/strengthen the coordination of Save the Children’s work with the relevant ministries on child protection.</li><li>Ensure recognized international best practices and Save the Children policies are applied in the work with children;</li><li>Ensure program products and learning are maintained within the Save the Children country input for programme development in close coordination with the PDQ and Field Managers, finance and operations staff;</li><li>Ensure updated and accurate needed information for use in program Budgeting Management </strong></p><ul><li>Manage the CP project spending against budget to ensure acceptable monthly performance and funds are optimally used for the intended purpose as per approved fund summary and annual plan. </li><li>Undertake monthly budget forecase and monitoring for child protection activities in each award in order to ensure implementation and accuracy of financial reports, manage budget variances, explain variances and propose measures for managing the variances. </li><li>Ensure that all financial policies and regulations relating to cash flow management, expenditure controls, cash management, accounting information, and advances management are adhered to.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>External Relations (Advocacy, Networking and The CP Case Worker will be responsible for implementing the work of and providing guidance to the Community on case management and child protection activities. This position will be primarily responsible for conducting Best Interest Assessments (BIA), case management for vulnerable children, along with facilitating psychosocial and information sessions for children and their families </p><p> </p><p><strong>SCOPE OF ROLE: </strong></p><p> The Case Management Case Worker is a frontline Child Protection staff member responsible for providing case management services to vulnerable and at-risk children, including Unaccompanied and Separated Children (UASC), in line with Save the Children's Case Management, Safe Families, and Alternative Care approaches. The role supports case identification, assessment, care planning, referrals, follow-up, Family Tracing and Reunification (FTR), and case closure.
