and responsibilities</h4><p><strong>Projects implementation:</strong></p><ul><li>Under the supervision of the WASH Coordinator/Health Manager, and in coordination with relevant ministries, directly implement assessment for WASH needs both at community and institutional level.</li><li>Implement Water, Sanitation and hygiene promotion activities in close collaboration with the WASH Coordinator/Manager. </li><li>Provide regular reports on WASH issues and program progress against work plans and program activities.</li><li>Sensitizing beneficiaries about various aspects, requirements and information needed to ensure participation in the project’s activities.</li><li>Support the development of hygiene promotion materials.</li><li>Mobilize communities, disiminate and convoy hygiene promotion messages among community members as well as elaborating plans of awareness raising activities. </li><li>Prepare distribution plans for WASH items, tools and hygiene kits and so payment to contractors can be processed </li><li>Develop and implement safety standard checklists ensuring that children’s safety is central </li><li>Ensure good and accurate data collection and reporting against project monthly achievement and progresses.</li><li>As needed, conduct Focus Group Discussions, assessments and questionnaires to ensure community’s feedbacks, analayze the data and recommend actions for improvements </li></ul><p><strong>Monitoring</strong></p><ul><li>Conduct on spot ckeck for WASH services delivery and ensure all planned activities implemented and delivered according to WASH standards (Sphere, local) and the WASH sector quality bench marks and conduct required corrections and actions.</li><li>Follow up implementation of WASH activities in close coordination with local partners and ensure WASH quality bench marks are met for all delivered services and activities.</li></ul><p><strong>Reportinting, assessment and proposal development</strong></p><ul><li>Provide daily, weekly and monthly reports on implementation of WASH activities and updatae projects IPTTs on monthly basis. </li><li>Assists with developing of proposal and concept papers.</li><li>Participates in related assessments and surveys.</li></ul><p><strong>Technical support/ capacity building</strong></p><ul><li>Technical training of local partners and ministerial and institutional staff, community volunteers and members of WASH committees, on how to use/maintain WASH facilities </li></ul><p><strong>Coordination/ In Gedaref, activities have focused on refugee and host populations, with a recent transition from a hospital-based model (including Tenedba) towards more targeted support to high-burden facilities, particularly for neglected tropical diseases.</p><p>In Omdurman, the project has anchor projects in nutrition (an ITFC in Al Buluk hospital) and potentially an SRH activity in partnership with a local organisation.</p><p>Both projects remain agile and emergency response and preparedness is a main pillar in both projects. Across both projects, there is an increasing emphasis on strengthening surveillance systems, early warning capacity, and outbreak preparedness, in line with the mission’s strategic priority to improve responsiveness to acute shocks while maintaining a lean and adaptable presence.</p><p><strong>General outline:</strong></p><ul><li>Main responsibility is scanning and analysis of outbreak prone diseases and ensuring high quality data collection and analysis processes in place for possible outbreak prone diseases, emergencies and possible responses. </li><li>Provide technical support for rapid assessment, risk mapping and development of preparedness/contingency plan at projects. </li><li>Maintain database of reported outbreaks and public health incidents, at the project level, and document all steps taken in the verification and response process.</li><li>Support the production of the weekly epidemiological update through reviewing and summarizing the weekly epidemiological situation at project level.</li><li>Train and supervise mission data supervisor and data encoders on data entry, crosscheck data to ensure accuracy of the data entered.</li><li>Prepare tables and interpretation of surveillance data monthly as part of their monthly medical report (MMR) contribution</li></ul><p><strong>1. will Plan, organize, Implement and supervise, monitor and analyze the results of an infection control program in a project or health facility, according to MSF/MoH protocols, safety and IPC measures, in order to ensure quality of care and safety of patients, caretakers and staff.</p><h4>Duties and responsibilities</h4><ul><li>Carry out the functions and tasks associated to infection prevention and control (IPC).</li><li>In collaboration with each service activity manager/supervisor, maintain and support the day-to-day implementation of infection prevention and control practices includes standard precautions and risk assessment in health structures in all departments, including sterilization, laundry and kitchen.</li><li>Based on a given patient diagnosis, collaborate with the medical team to evaluate the need and support for IPC implementation, if needed, for transmission-based precautions (air, droplet and contact).</li><li>In collaboration with the service supervisor, implement
