In particular, the sector includes: FSL, Health, Nutrition, Protection, WASH, and cash programs. SUDO is currently operating through 12 well-established field offices. </p><h4>Duties and responsibilities</h4><p>Under the direct supervision of the MEAL Coordinator, the Senior MEAL officer will lead MEAL activities guided by SUDO MEAL manual and donor requirements. SUDO is working all over Sudan with 16 offices. This role ensures the effective implementation of compliance and assurance activities, contributing to the integrity and accountability of operations.</p><p> </p><p>Working collaboratively with departments such as finance, procurement, HR, awards, and supply chain, the Coordiantor conducts reviews, assessments, to ensure adherence to SCI policies, donor regulations, and local laws. </p><p>The role also supports partner compliance, capacity building, and fraud investigations and awareness initiatives.</p><p>In addition, the Coordinator contributes to risk management processes including SCARF, COSFA, and Top Risk registers, and supports ethical programming efforts. </p><p> </p><p>Through regular field visits, reporting, and coordination with regional and global units, the Coordinator helps maintain a culture of transparency and continuous improvement within the Country Programme.</p><h4>Duties and responsibilities</h4><p><strong>KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY: </strong></p><h3> </h3><h3>Compliance and Assurance:</h3><h3>Under the supervision and the guidance for the Risk and Compliance Manager:</h3><ul><li>Participate the development and the implementation of a Risk-Based Annual Compliance and Assurance Work Plan.</li><li>Conduct reviews across finance, procurement, HR, awards, and supply chain to ensure strong internal controls according to the annua assurance plan.</li><li>Visit field offices to assess risk mitigation and operational practices.</li><li>Perform ad hoc procurement and asset reviews, surprise stock and cash counts.</li><li>Perform pre-audit on specific project, transaction or department when requested by the Risk and Compliance Manager.</li><li>Develop compliance reports after the completion of the assigned tasks and sharing with the Risk and Compliance Manager.</li><li>Continuously follow up on the implementation of the compliance findings after the compliance reviews are conducted </li><li>Build and maintain compliance digital library for internal policies and work instructions</li></ul><h3>Risk Management: </h3><ul><li>Support the Risk and Compliance Manager in the SCARF, FRA, and Top Risk registers with regular reporting.</li><li>Provide technical support to field Risk and Ethics Co Leadership and ensure there is an updated risk register for field level</li><li>Attend kick-off meetings and walkthrough to PART to project implementation SCI and partner teams</li><li>Follow-up on updates of project level PART to ensure that risk registers are updated throughout the project cycle. </li></ul><h3>Investigations and Counter-Fraud:</h3><ul><li>Support investigations into fraud, bribery, corruption, and misconduct when assigned.</li><li>Support the Risk and Ethics CO leadership and manage reporting obligations.</li><li>Liaise with regional fraud units and manage reporting obligations.</li></ul><h3>Partner Compliance & Capacity Building:</h3><ul><li>Participate the partner assessments using the Partner Assessment Tool (PAT).</li><li>Conduct periodic compliance reviews in collaboration as per the assurance and compliance plan.</li><li>Support and participate the partner capacity building activities.</li></ul><h3>Support the Ethical Programming and Awareness</h3><p> </p><p>Deliver fraud awareness sessions to staff, partners, and suppliers in collaboration with Risk and Compliance Manager and Ethical Programing Manager</p><h4>Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required</h4><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS </strong></p><p> </p><p><strong>Essential</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor Degree in Management, accounting Finance or any other relevant sectors.</li><li>Experience of working in the corporate, humanitarian or development sector at similar level</li><li>minimum of 3 years working in Fraud management, Risk Management, internal audit or compliance or any relevant department</li><li>Experience of working in large diverse teams with colleagues from many cultures backgrounds</li><li>Exceptional communication and organisational skills, and highly competent in developing and implementing systems, business processes and procedures</li><li>Highly competent in Microsoft office software</li><li>Exceptional coordination skills</li><li>Fluent written and spoken English</li></ul><p>Very confident in dealing with large groups of people and with senior level visitors and partners.</p><p><strong>BEHAVIOURS (Values in Practice</strong>)</p><p><strong>Accountability:</strong></p><ul><li>Holds self accountable for making decisions, managing resources efficiently, achieving and role modelling Save the Children values</li><li>holds the team and partners accountable to deliver on their responsibilities -
