</li><li>Report and submit payroll deductions to applicable local authorities; </li><li>Check and approve overtime claims.</li></ul><p><strong>Performance Management</strong>:</p><ul><li>Support management and supervisors to deal firmly and promptly with performance issues;</li><li>Steer the annual appraisal of performance process; </li><li>Assist in drafting performance improvement plans; </li><li>Train and assist supervisors on disciplinary action process (according to labor law);.</li></ul><p><strong>Other</strong>:</p><ul><li>Address HR audit issues and lead the closing of any HR Audit findings;</li><li>Help to implement training programs; </li><li>Ensure legal compliance for all HR related issues; </li><li>Act as a resource person to clarify any HR issues.</li></ul><p><strong>General Duties: </strong></p><ul><li>Is aware of COOPI’s objectives and activities in Sudan.</li><li>Respects security rules at all time.</li><li>Pledges to respect and act in accordance with COOPI’s Code of Ethics, PSEA Policy, and other applicable organizational policies.</li><li>Replace other employees in their absence when necessary.</li><li>The staff member may be asked to perform duties and tasks not covered in this job description as well as to provide support to other functional units when requested and necessary.</li></ul><h4>Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required</h4><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, Management or any other relevant field; </li><li>Master Degree is an advantage.</li><li>Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive HR experience. </li><li>Minimum of 3 years in coordination or managerial role with international NGOs in Sudan, preferably more;</li><li>Experience in Payroll management.</li><li>Good working proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; </li><li>Good written and spoken English, very good Arabic proficiency;</li><li> Good organizational, communication and interpersonal skills</li></ul>
